Arizona Life, Accident and Health exam and resident-license path

This online Self Study product is optional independent exam preparation for the combined Life, Accident and Health or Sickness producer path. It is not a DIFI-required or DIFI-approved education course.

Current combined examination: PSI series 13-33, with a current $59 examination fee and a 70% correct passing score. Confirm availability, identification, and scheduling rules with PSI before booking.

1. Choose the correct authority

Confirm that the combined Life, Accident and Health or Sickness authority is the producer path you need. Life-only and health-only examinations are distinct options.

2. Prepare and test with PSI

Current DIFI guidance says applicants generally have four attempts within a one-year period. The current combined exam is PSI series 13-33.

3. Complete fingerprints when required

DIFI applies fingerprint requirements to specified resident and relocation situations and currently lists a $22 FBI processing component when fingerprints are required.

4. Apply through NIPR

Current DIFI guidance says applicants generally must apply within one year after passing. DIFI currently lists a $120 nonrefundable license fee; NIPR transaction charges are separate.

Annuity authority is a separate step

Life producers must complete four hours of Arizona-approved annuity training before selling, soliciting, or negotiating annuities. This producer-exam preparation product does not replace licensing, company appointment, or any required annuity or long-term-care product training.
