Before you enroll
Do I need a sponsoring firm to take the SIE?
No. FINRA permits anyone age 18 or older to take the SIE without association with a firm.
Does passing the SIE make me registered?
No. Passing the SIE alone does not qualify a person for registration or authorize securities business. Applicable qualification exams, firm association, registration, and state requirements still apply.
How long can I access the TSI course?
The current SIE Exam Prep product includes 70 days of online course access.
Are Series 6 and Series 7 available now?
No. Series 6, Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, and Series 66 are shown as future TSI course paths and are not currently offered for purchase.
Does TSI guarantee that I will pass?
No. TSI provides independent exam preparation and study tools, but does not guarantee an exam result.
