Current Nevada resident sequence
- Choose Life & Health, Property & Casualty, or both based on the authority needed.
- Use optional independent Self Study if helpful. Nevada does not require prelicensing education. This TSI course is not represented as Nevada-approved prelicensing education or credit.
- Schedule the applicable Pearson VUE exam. Combined L&H exam InsNV_LAH05 and combined P&C exam InsNV_PC06 are currently listed at physical test centers and are absent from the current OnVUE table.
- Take the applicable combined exam. InsNV_LAH05 and InsNV_PC06 are each currently listed at $47, 3 hours 35 minutes, and a scaled passing score of 70.
- Protect the exam fee by changing or canceling at least 48 hours before the appointment. After a failed physical-location attempt, wait 24 hours before making another reservation; a failed combined exam must be retaken in full.
- Pass within one year before applying, then submit the resident producer application electronically through Sircon. Nevada currently lists a $185 state licensing fee, with vendor transaction fees separate.
- Apply before fingerprinting. Use the Sircon or NIPR authorization link, complete the Background Waiver, use an approved Nevada vendor, and upload both completed forms. Fingerprints are valid for one year.
- An insurer appointment and license issuance remain separate from the course, exam, application, and fingerprint steps.

Can I take either combined exam through OnVUE?
The current Pearson VUE handbook lists both combined exams in the physical test-center table and neither combined exam in the OnVUE table. Confirm current availability before scheduling.
Can I change or cancel an appointment without forfeiting the fee?
Pearson VUE must receive notice at least 48 hours before the appointment to transfer the fee or request a refund.
How do combined-exam retakes work?
After a failed physical-location attempt, wait 24 hours before making a new reservation. A failed candidate must retake the entire combined exam.
