Virginia Life, Annuities & Health exam and resident-license path
Virginia requires the appropriate producer examination. Its current published 16-hour prelicensing-course rule is for Title, not standard Life and Annuities or Health. This online Self Study product is optional independent exam preparation, not required Virginia education or a completion-certificate path.

1. Confirm both qualifications
Virginia treats Life and Annuities and Health as distinct qualifications even though Prometric offers the combined 11-01 examination. Select only the qualifications you need when applying.
2. Prepare and test with Prometric
Prometric offers Virginia examinations at test centers and through remote proctoring. The current licensing bulletin lists series 11-01 at 150 minutes / $35.
3. Apply online

Variable Contracts authority is separate
Virginia lists Variable Contracts as a separate qualification requiring Life and Annuities authority plus the applicable FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 registration. This course does not provide securities registration, appointment, or product-specific training.
