3. Meet the examination standard
Pearson VUE's current handbook states a 65% passing score for the Life-only, Accident and Health or Sickness-only, and combined Life, Accident and Health or Sickness producer examinations. Exam registration, identification, delivery, and retake rules belong to Pearson VUE and may change.
4. Apply for state approval
Apply electronically through Sircon or NIPR. NIPR says applicants must be at least 18 and an exam is required before Mississippi approves the request. The current producer application fee is $100; NIPR lists an additional $1 online session fee.
