1. Choose the correct authority
Confirm that Property and Casualty is the producer authority you need before scheduling. This product is scoped to the Arizona P&C path.
2. Prepare and test with PSI
Current DIFI guidance says applicants generally have four attempts within a one-year period. Confirm current PSI scheduling, identification, and testing rules before booking.
3. Complete fingerprints when required
DIFI applies fingerprint requirements to specified resident and relocation situations and currently lists a $22 FBI processing component when fingerprints are required.
4. Apply through NIPR
Current DIFI guidance says applicants generally must apply within one year after passing. DIFI currently lists a $120 nonrefundable license fee; NIPR transaction charges are separate.

Course boundary: Purchase provides optional independent Arizona P&C exam preparation. It does not include the PSI examination, application, NIPR transaction charges, fingerprint costs, company appointment, or license. TSI does not claim Arizona DIFI, PSI, or NIPR approval, recommendation, or endorsement and does not guarantee study completion, examination passage, application approval, appointment, or license issuance.
See how TSI turns P&C concepts into practice
Build confidence by working through a situation and explaining the coverage concept. These original examples show the kind of reasoning to bring to your TSI lessons and practice review.
Work through a deductible
Assume $4,500 of covered property damage, a $500 deductible and a sufficient policy limit. No depreciation or other adjustment applies in this example.
$4,500 − $500 = $4,000. The example insurer payment is $4,000. Start with the covered loss, apply the stated deductible, then consider the limit. Real claims depend on the actual policy and loss facts.
Identify the purpose of the coverage
Covered damage to the policyholder's own property raises a property-coverage question. A claim that the policyholder caused covered injury or damage to someone else raises a liability-coverage question.
Identify who suffered the loss and whose responsibility is being considered before choosing an answer. Then check the relevant policy terms, exclusions and limits.
A clear path through your Arizona P&C course
The current TSI course moves through Definitions, Personal Insurance, Business Insurance and State Regulation, followed by unlimited practice tests and the course final. Use missed practice topics to choose the lesson you revisit next. The course final is separate from the state licensing examination.
Enroll in Arizona P&C self-study. Your self-study course includes the study tools shown above and 70 days of online access from purchase. Review your item and current full price at checkout.
