Nebraska P&C exam and license path
This is independent self-study exam preparation. It is not the PSI exam, the NIPR application, a Nebraska Department of Insurance endorsement, or a guarantee of exam passage or license approval.
1. Prepare for the correct exam
The current Department-linked PSI bulletin identifies the combined Property and Casualty producer exam as series 13-04. It lists 150 scored items, a 70% cut score, and a $47 fee. Verify the current fee and exam configuration with PSI when booking.
2. Schedule physical-site testing
Nebraska guidance dated March 16, 2026 says new insurance producer testing is limited to physical sites. Older bulletin text about remote proctoring is not current guidance.
3. Allow the result to transfer
The Department says PSI generally uploads passing exam information within 2-3 days.
4. Apply through NIPR
After the result is available, submit the resident producer application through NIPR. The Department gives a general 3-5 day processing estimate, but license issuance depends on state review.

Course boundary: Nebraska says it does not review, approve, or recommend exam-prep providers. Purchase provides TSI self-study access for 70 days; it does not issue a producer license and does not guarantee passage or approval.
