Wisconsin Property & Casualty prelicensing and license path

This online Self Study product provides both approved Wisconsin education paths: 20 hours for Property and 20 hours for Casualty. Each path includes eight common hours plus 12 line-specific hours. OCI says the shared eight hours need not be repeated for another line when completed within 12 months.

1. Complete both approved education paths

Public SBS lists TSI provider 500032968, Property course 6000220576, and Casualty course 6000220559. Because this is asynchronous Self Study, complete the proctored final course examination and affidavit for each required path. That course final is separate from the state exam.

2. Use each completion certificate

OCI requires the corresponding completion certificate at the PSI exam and says prelicensing completion is valid for one year. The certificate proves approved education; it does not guarantee passage or issue a license.

3. Take the separate PSI state exams

Register separately for Wisconsin Property series 22-05 and Casualty series 22-07. Each PSI exam is currently $75. The candidate bulletin currently linked by OCI states a 70% passing score; OCI says exam results are valid for 180 days or six months.

4. Fingerprint and apply

Use OCI Fieldprint code FPWIOCIINSURANCE. OCI currently lists $34.75 for digital fingerprints, 180-day validity, and typical 24-72-hour electronic receipt. After passing, wait 48-72 hours for scores to reach NIPR, then submit the resident application.

Current official Wisconsin sources

Course boundary: Purchase provides 70 days of online Self Study access for the approved Property and Casualty education paths. It does not include PSI exams, Fieldprint fingerprints, government or NIPR fees, appointment, or license. TSI does not claim OCI, PSI, SBS, or NIPR recommendation or endorsement and does not guarantee course completion, exam passage, fingerprint clearance, application approval, appointment, or license issuance.
