- Complete the mapped 40-hour approved Self Study education. The public Sircon inquiry identifies provider 186907 and courses 47711 for Life and Health or 47739 for Property and Casualty.
- Schedule the matching Pearson VUE combined exam. The current handbook lists 150 questions, 180 minutes, a passing score of 70, a $69 fee, and physical test-center or OnVUE delivery.
- Pass the examination and apply through Sircon or NIPR within the certificate’s six-month validity period. Indiana currently lists a $40 state fee plus the vendor processing fee.
- Respond promptly if the Department requests more information. Indiana says normal review is seven to ten business days and an incomplete application still pending after 30 days may be withdrawn. Insurer appointment is separate.
