Reinstatement (Expired Licenses) If the license is in expired status and within 2 years of expiration, the applicant may reinstate the license.

A reinstatement fee (double the license fee) will apply when the status reason is “Expired.” If the license is inactive but not due to an “Expired” status reason, the double fee does not apply. If the license has been expired for more than 2 years, the applicant must apply as a new licensee.
