Insurance producers, auto damage appraisers, and motor club licensees may renew after expiration if their status is Active or Expired, while insurance advisers, adjusters, life settlement brokers, and reinsurance intermediaries must reapply starting the day after expiration if their status is Inactive.

Renewal Timing by License Status

Applicants for Insurance Producer, Auto Damage Appraiser, and Motor Club licenses may submit a renewal application after the license expiration date provided the license status is Active or Expired. Conversely, applicants for Insurance Adviser, Insurance Adjuster, Life Settlement Broker, and Reinsurance Intermediary Broker/Manager licenses must reapply beginning the day after the license expiration date if the license status is Inactive.
