Texas in-person Life & Health exam preparation
This 2-day in-person class plus 70-day online course provides optional independent exam preparation. Texas does not require a fixed prelicensing-hour total for the regular resident General Lines route, and class attendance does not guarantee exam passage or license issuance.
- Exam: Pearson VUE currently lists English General Lines - Life, Accident and Health exam InsTX-LAH05 at 150 minutes and a $49 test-center fee.
- Outline: the current handbook totals 130 scoreable and 15 pretest questions.
- Resident sequence: TDI currently lists exam, fingerprint process, then license application. It lists a $50 application fee and a one-year deadline after passing.
