Questions before choosing a course
Does Texas require me to buy a prelicensing course?
The regular resident General Lines path lists the state exam, fingerprint process and application. TSI's Texas courses are optional preparation for that exam. Check the current Texas requirements guide and its official sources for your situation.
Can I compare a sample before purchasing?
Yes. The Life & Health example explains term-policy benefits, and the P&C example works through a deductible. The public course-area demo also includes a P&C sample course.
Am I looking for continuing education instead?
If you already hold a license and need renewal credit, use the Texas continuing education courses. Licensing exam preparation and renewal CE serve different purposes.
